🌍Exciting News! We’re a North Devon Biosphere Business Partner.

I’m delighted to share with you all that Latitude 50 Landscapes has been accepted into the North Devon Biosphere Business Partner Accreditation Scheme.

The North Devon Biosphere was the very first of 7 to be designated in the UK and extends from Dartmoor, Exmoor, down rivers and out to the sea reaching beyond Lundy.

Their mission….. ‘to connect people with nature and to inspire a positive future today’.

Being accepted into this scheme has made me incredibly happy as it demonstrates a commitment to conservation, local development and awareness-raising. This aligns with and cements my vision of creating planet-friendly cards and gifts that celebrate the beauty of our area, whilst keeping the environment at the core of all that we do.

Yes, Latitude 50 Landscapes is a tiny little business, but if we can show a commitment to initiatives such as this…. and to the world around us, what’s stopping the ‘big guys’ too?

We are looking forward to working with the North Devon Biosphere and continuing to raise awareness in our local area…..and also ‘setting to’ on our pledge for nature.

You too can also join in making a pledge for nature… it could be something as simple as putting up a bird or bat box, planting some wildflowers in your garden, joining a beach clean or helping to plant trees in your local area. Little steps can make all the difference in helping nature in our area to flourish.
